Vanligtvis hålls iTunes Festival i Roundhouse i London men i mars i år kunde vi följa festivalen från Austin i Texas då den under fem dagar hölls samtidigt som SXSW. Nu i höst återvänder den dock till London och Roundhouse när den åttonde upplagan hålls under september månad.
“The iTunes Festival in London is back with another stunning line-up of world class performers and tremendous new acts,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services. “These live shows capture the heart and soul of iTunes and we love bringing them to our customers in the Roundhouse, as well as to the millions of people watching all over the world for free.”
Alla artister är ännu inte klara med du kommer kunna se live-sända uppträdanden av bland annat Maroon 5, Pharrell Williams, Beck, Sam Smith, Blondie, Kylie, David Guetta, 5 Seconds of Summer, Calvin Harris, Chrissie Hynde och många fler.
Festivalen är till för Apples kunder och du kan följa den live på din iPhone, iPod touch, iPad och Apple TV samt i iTunes på Mac eller PC. För iOS kommer appen iTunes Festival att finnas för nedladdning från App Store och på Apple TV kommer en ikon för festivalen dyka upp när det är dags. Du kommer också under begränsad tid komma kunna se uppträdanden i efterhand.
